This title features the next generation of stage-clearing action by combining all of the levels into a seamless "Open-Zone" world. The map is packed with things to do, such as battles, puzzles, and Cyber Space levels, and how you proceed is entirely up to you!

Various mysterious enemies stand in Sonic's path. Use the techniques you've acquired throughout your adventure to string up combos in exhilarating high-speed battles! There is also an Auto Combo function that allows players to automatically launch a combination of attacks with the single press of a button.


The Starfall Islands, a land forgotten by all.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy head towards the Starfall Islands in the trusty Tornado while following traces of the Chaos Emeralds. When they are in the sky above the islands, a wormhole suddenly appears and sucks them in, separating Sonic from the others!
Guided by a mysterious voice, Sonic starts running around to find his friends.
What secrets sleep under the surface of this island? Who is the strange girl that stands in Sonic's way?
